Burapa Prosper Receives Krungsri ESG Awards 2023 for Excellence in Sustainability

Burapa Prosper Co., Ltd., a leading Thai rice flour manufacturer, has been awarded the Krungsri ESG Awards 2023 (Excellence Category) by Bank of Ayudhya PCL. The award recognizes SMEs that successfully integrate ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) principles into their business strategy.

Through the Krungsri ESG Academy, Burapa Prosper developed a clear Transition Plan and Sustainability Roadmap, highlighting its commitment to responsible business practices.

Key initiatives include:

• Reducing plastic usage by over 30 tons per year

• Installing solar panels, cutting CO₂ emissions by 667 tons/year

• Recycling water for production and community agriculture

• Developing high-purity rice flour as a clean-label food solution

Managing Director Mr. Sathaporn Paisanburapa also spoke at SMART SME 2024 on the topic "How SMEs Adapt in a Changing World," sharing Burapa Prosper’s 48-year journey of innovation, resilience, and market expansion to over 30 countries.

“ESG is not only something we should do — it is essential to how we create long-term value for people, society, and the planet,” Mr. Sathaporn stated.
